2nd National Space Meet #NSM2019 organised by SGAC & NESRA hosted at the Godawari Sadak, Pātan, Central Development Region 44700 Nepal July 20 - 21 2019.
The #NSM2019 event aims to bring together space enthusiasts from all over Nepal and provide them a global platform where they can enrich their skills and make a career in the space sector. In addition of the National Space Meet, Space Generation Advisory Council (Nepal) organises a youth-focused event which aims to facilitate the involvement of youth in the space sector. NESRA and SG(Nepal) help explore and build forecasts for the development of the space sector in Nepal. Keynote Speaker Dr Sarah Jane Pell introduces global Space Analogue Mission including two Moon/Mars simulations/expeditions that she has conducted in Nepal. She also discuss the prospects and challenges for Nepal to capitalise on the natural assets in the region that could support further global analogue research platforms.
