This panel examines why women are drastically underrepresented in STEM fields, particularly in higher ranked positions. And research shows that girls can be nudged away from science at school. Chaired by Helen Simondson, Head of Programming at ACMI, and featuring microbiologist Dr. Denise Miles, ‎Giselle Rosman, Executive Producer at The Global Game Jam, Lisy Kane, Co-Founder of the education startup Girl Geek Academy, Producer for League of Geeks, and Artist Astronaut, Dr. Sarah Jane Pell.
