The Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program aims to develop leaders for vibrant and sustainable communities by engaging, encouraging, and empowering members of the community in leadership roles. Through the program, participants are able to explore a wide range of issues that encompass social, cultural, environmental, technological and economic aspects of our region. The program is highly regarded by organisations and individuals in our region as a unique and impactful development opportunity which gives back significantly into our small and large towns and communities. The diversity of the participants incorporates people from across different sectors, age groups, nationalities, levels of educational attainment, background and worldview. It was a pleasure to meet the staff and participants, learn their stories, and share in a few laughs as I shared my own story and the lessons learned from Sea, to Summit, to Space, and the application for life "back home".
